Phonegap application tested for iPhone and android.
App allows a user to define a form then fill the form then send it to a webservice using a post method.
Phone data such as compass/gps/time (and others) can be associated with form fields.
Application can send filled form data to a webservice endpoint when user presses the 'CAST' button. Dat la can be 'cast' at defined intervals or by button push.
App has two modes, define and execute mode
App can save definitions and load them.
User can select mode at any time.
In define mode:
User creates a form definition and sets its 'post' frequency.
Post frequency is either continuous at a defined interval (in seconds) or on button push. 'Send'
User defines endpoint uri and security.
User pastes JSON structure into text box
JSON may create as many as 10 fields.
Application creates a form based on the JSON
Form will be displayed to user.
Any field defined by the user in the JSON may be associated with compass, accelerometer, time (and other common fields found in native phone gap access to the device) using the form displayed in the definition mode.
Each field on the form will have a combo box listing data origin with text box or one of the native data elements(compass, gps, time etc) as options.
User can save form as a template and load manually or automatically.
In execute mode:
Form is displayed
Text fields are blank till the user fills them
Device date fields contain current device data
'Cast' button executes a post to a webservice endpoint defined in define mode.
View JSON button shows the JSON header/payload that will be sent.
'Cast counter' shows the number of times a post is made either in auto or manual.
