Fix bugs in Linux using C++ in an NLE video editor, CinelerraGG

Not an easy job and there is startup time to learn how to run only basic Cinelerra-GG (which is an Non Linear Editor for editing Videos and Audio). You will need to be able to download the source and compile it from the website which includes a 700 page manual and how to build Cinelerra on Linux --- [login to view URL] . There are at least 12 bugs to fix which we hope to do over 12 months BUT first I need to see that this project and the described bug of bad flashing when using Fade In/Out bug can be fixed by you, the freelancer. An example file that can be used to see the bug will be uploaded here.
Only after a mod is supplied for me to test to make sure it fixes the problem in Cinelerra, will project funding be released. Once this bug is fixed, I will open a new project that contains milestones for each of the other 11 bugs that need to be fixed.
UPDATE: I have a demo file showing the bug at: [login to view URL] that shows the bug with Cinelerra having loaded the [login to view URL] xml file. There are 2 occurrences of the Fade In/Out bug -- one is most likely in the plugins/titler/titler.C program (around line 2160 is the code, I think) and the second one should be in the plugins/dissolve/dissolve.C program (around line 59 is the location of the fade code). It is not easy to see in the demo I provided, you really have to run the Cinelerra program to see what is going on -- then you will see that white colored letters show up when they are supposed to, that is fading in, but prior to that a quick flashing in black is NOT supposed to be there -- this is the bug!

Basic operations to run Cinelerra to show the bug (these are from memory, so I might have left something out):
1) start the program -- after you built it, type in a window /{directory while you put it}/bin/cin
2) you should have previously downloaded and unpacked [login to view URL] into /tmp
3) in the window of Cinelerra in the right bottom corner is the Main program window and there is a transport bar with arrows to move around and there are pulldowns with options
4) use the File pulldown to choose the option "load file" and choose /tmp/[login to view URL] AND then on the bottom choose "replace current project" and hit the OK button on bottom left side
5) now you should see what you saw in the demo loaded and you just use the arrow transport buttons to go back and forth
