I need a lawyer

I have a class action lawsuit against me, and it recently became a default on August 5th. I had a paralegal who was helping me but his entire family got covid-19 so he is feeling very sick and ill, and can’t respond and continue to help me.

He confirmed with me a couple times, saying that since my business is defunct there is nothing they can do.

Mr Liu. As we have discussed before, since your company is defunct there is nothing they(the Plaintiff) can do. You no longer have the business there is nothing they can get. Stand down at this time. If they thought they could get a default judgement they would have already done so.

(I got a complaint on November 2020 and not until now until they default our case(which they should have already done so, but waited til now). So I think that is why the paralegal said “If they thought they could get a default judgement they would have already done so.

“

I also had a call with him and his attorney colleague and confirmed that the Plaintiff can’t do anything about this case since my website is closed(back in April 2021) . (This is back before I received the default). I send him a message again yesterday and he again confirmed that I am safe and don’t need to worry.

I would need to know if I am 100% Safe( and can ignore the case) and I would like to know what action I need to take. I am very afraid that they might freeze my bank account and I can’t do anything about it since it default already(entry of default). I have several e-commerce site that sells products so if my bank account is freezes then I can’t operate them. So I need URGENT help!

This UV Sanitizer USA LLC is a sole propriety and its a team of 3 with me and two customer support. Can they freeze my bank account in USA? What about my personal bank account in Taiwan? My website and online store stopped completed at April, should I start the dissolution of my company?

BACKGROUND

I am a ecommerce store owner and had a class action against me. I was never properly served with a summon because I came back to Taiwan 2 years ago.

My website is being sued for a class action. 3. The website(ecommerce business) is closed now(This is why my paralegal keeps on saying that the plaintiff has nothing they can do. 5. I don’t know about the case. I just notice it recently when I searched up my website and realized it’s sued for a class action. This is my original website. [login to view URL] I am a dropshipper, so I sell uv wand from China and sell it to the USA market. They filed a class action lawsuit against me.

Main issue is that my website claims that uv wand kills 99% of germs, and more. I have the document from my China factory that says it can kill 99% of the germs. So basically Im sued because they think I’m false advertising claiming the light can kill 99.99% of bacteria. I have the documents to back it up( with certified SGS certification).

My concerns, and why I don’t think I’m liable.

1. How did the customer know that the light doesn't work? (did they test it on the lab), obviously not. We have SGS certification on our UV Lights.

2. On the document it says that this is a class action involving more than 100 Class Members. (is there any prove)? i don’t think so. Because many people bought from Walmart and Costco, and even amazon. These products aren’t from myself. I have my own website and I only sell to people who bought from my website.

3. Any proof that the customer was injured? I don’t think so too
