Design a logo for my Counselling Business.

I have recently completed my counselling qualifications and setting up my own private practice. I am a sole trader and will remain that way. My approach is quite individual and similar to my direct and strong personality. I want to reflect a sense of fun yet still responsible as a therapist. The logo will need to have a cartoon figure of me and my little white dog and this concept I am interested in depicting in different ways in other areas of the website once it is designed as well as other literature I may produce. So in short at this point I want a logo with company name " Dom Lawrenson Counselling" and the figure of me and my dog. I am uploading a picture of us as a guide. The style of illustration of us could be similar to that of the Tin Tin cartoons.
