Design an American Sports Style Logo

This job is to design a “US Sports Style” logo. The logo must consist of 100% original artwork. The logo must NOT simply be an icon logo with the associated word written below – this is not a corporate style business logo.
If you do not have experience in designing this kind of logo and cannot create a NEW “character” for the logo, please do not apply. IF you apply, you will need to show us an example of a US Sports Style / Team logo you have created in the past.
We have had people apply to do our logos before saying they can do this kind of logo, then they do the same old “small icon, word beside/under in a fancy font” and we do not want to get this from any applicant.
If you have any questions about what we are looking for please ask BEFORE applying. I have attached some examples of the style of logo I mean.
English as a first language is preferred so you can fully understand our concept.
