I have uploaded this file in the Content folder of Blackboard for your convenience. In your textbook, the authors ask you to do five things numbered a.b.c.d.e for this problem. You can do what the authors tell you to do or you can choose a different method of analysis that is appropriate for the purpose of classification specified in the problem. I am asking you to analyze this data set using any method that you think can be appropriate and helpful for classifying an e-mail into spam or nonspam and then summarize what you learned from this exercise and how others can benefit from what you have discovered through mining the data. Write your summary in a Microsoft Word document but place any tables or figures from XLMiner in the Word document so that a reader who reads your summary report can understand your report without having to open the XLMiner output in an Excel file. When you submit your final report on the day of the final exam, submit both the Word document and the Excel file that contains the XLMiner output.
