Macro help in Excel

We have an excel spreadsheet for bulk data entry by external parties with conditional formatting within the spreadsheet that indicates if correct values have been added.
For the conditional formatting to work, the values need to be pasted values only.
We are having trouble with a macro that forces paste values only (so as not to over-ride the formatting that indicates a cell is correct).
Note: we have a macro that works fine in older windows versions of excel, however doesnt work in newer versions of Mac excel.
We need someone to write the macro script that will limit pasting to the spreadsheet to paste values.
DO NOT PITCH: if you dont have ready access to the version attached.
