I am trying to use the library Dataframe ( [login to view URL]) on a old version of ubuntu (12.4) and i couldn't use it in a program to compile it as it wouldn't be recognise with the g++ command.
-How i generated the library ?
The problem is perhaps the library wasn't compiled properly ? the library can be compiled with Cmake (unfortunatly it needed a recent version of cmake >3.8, so i downloaded version 3.20 and built it locally). However the cmake still produced errors.
so I installed ran the installation manually using [login to view URL] file and it produced libDataFrame.a
-What command i executed to compile ?
/usr/bin/g++ -I/home/orange/project/bleuciel_bleuciel/mycpp/library/include/DataFrame -g3 -Wall -std=c++11 [login to view URL] -o hello_world -L/home/orange/project/bleuciel_bleuciel/mycpp/library/DataFrame-master/lib/[login to view URL] -llibDataFrame.a
error :
[login to view URL]:10: fatal error: DataFrame/DataFrame.h: No such file or directory
29 | #include <DataFrame/DataFrame.h> // Main DataFrame header
So to sum up i need someone to :
[login to view URL] me compile on my computer a simple [login to view URL] that uses the DataFrame library

It sounds like you're having some issues getting the DataFrame library to work with your old version of Ubuntu. I can fix the issue easily
After reviewing the information provided, it appears that the issue may be related to the include and library paths not being passed correctly to the g++ compiler when building your program.
