House design: Inspired by Elder Scrolls : Skyrim

We have a two bedroom house which backs onto a creek.
We would like to change the house to stone construction being two stories in height to take advantage of mountain views.
Products we plan on using:
Stone walls, floors, timber beams as can be found in Elders Scrolls.
A fireplace to be enclosed/slow combustion design to meet modern council requirements.
Photo's attached to provide ideas for construction and design.
The last four photo's are the actual house.
We will source local rocks to be shaped to suit. We have a number of rocks available including 'blue metal', sandstone, limestone, granite ( but a porous nature which makes it easy to shape. This rock was used from 1830 in South Western NSW).
Various timbers can be sourced including many Termite resistant Australian hardwoods.
I have been a tradesman in the building industry for many years but have yet to build a home on my own but do have the necessary skill to do so.
