Topic: Achieving Smoke-free 2025 means protecting children from exposure to tobacco smoke, supporting smokers to quit smoking and reducing the demand and supply to tobacco through policy changes. Yet people can smoke in cars and homes when children are present and mental health in-patient facilities are not smoke-free.

Critically discuss the tobacco control strategies that Aotearoa New Zealand could

1. smoke-free cars

2. Smoke-free mental health facilities
