The site I'm looking to build is very similar to ([login to view URL]). However, Instead of user buying bids, there would be a monthly fee standard to all users, meaning, no one can bid unless they have a membership. So a member can bid on any item if he/she has an active membership ,lets say 5 items a month. After that he/she needs to renew their memberships. Also the site won't be penny auction. the auction will start with 25% of the actual market value. each bidder can raise x$ until the last bidder wins.
