Categories for a WP site

I need to create categories for images and video. and post those menu in a way a visitor click for example in "sport videos" he get listed all video on that category on the page, and also if he click for example in "cartton pictures" he get all the cartoon pictures on the site, so of course admin area must to have the option on images and video to create new categories and assign when i do create a new video or image.
