I need a chat application written in C# using the .Net Framework. I require the following. Userlist Ability to select user and private message one or mulitple users Server and Client are the same application. Clicking File->Start Server starts a server and then connects to itself to allow other clients to connect. The messages should be in a class called Message, and should be sent through ONE method called SendMessage(). The receive message on the client side checks a MessageType enum to determine how to handle it. If you don't want to use this method of message passing, I will need you to propose your method. I don't care if you attempt to use .Net Remoting or low level Tcp/Ip sockets, so long as it works correctly. User should be able to specify the port number the server starts on, give the server a name that will be broadcast to connected users, and handle dropped clients appropriately. Exceptions should be caught and handled. Bidders who provide information about how they plan to tackle this project or who have similar past work will be given more consideration. Winning bidder may be asked to do more work in the future. Use the following namign conventions: [url removed, login to view] All classes, if statements, loops, etc should have the opening brace '{' start on the next line. ex. public class MyClass { } Any questions, just ask.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
