Hello,
We have a well-established website, and would like to develop a BlackBerry App that talks to our server, basically submitting and retrieving data to and from our backend server. We use ColdFusion on our backend server, and output generated by our server will be in XML format.
The 2 most important features of the App including:
1. The ability to allow users to take photos using their BlackBerry phones without closing the App itself, this could be the 1st step after installing the App, allowing the user to take a photo of an object using their phones.
2. After the photos are taken, then user proceeds to next step in the App, enters some other information, and submits those information along with the photos back to our server, ideally via one transmission only.
So the above 2 are the most critical parts of the App, the ability to allow users take photos without leaving the App, and send them back to our server via one transmission.
Other features include registration, login, account information etc.
