ckFinder - merge image annotation with ckfinder's colorbox

Am using ckFinder's colorbox to view images, and I also have a separate plugin that allows you to annotate these images. I would like to integrate colorbox with this annotation so when you click "View", the system also loads the tags. No editting needed, just load the tags so they're viewed in colorbox when viewing the pictures.
If it's not possible to use colorbox, then another jquery gallery is also possible to use, though I would prefer not to. I've attached 3 photos to show that I mean. imgwouttags is colorbox; imgwtags is the image tagging/annotation; the result is the tags loaded on colorbox.
