I am looking to build a portal for small to medium business owners to test their current business plans against current market conditions. There needs to be a portal or 'wizard' whereby the customer enters first their basic information and then more specific information about their business. At the back-end, the customer information is compared to relevant market information on their industry to determine how likely that business is to be successful in the foreseeable future.
The project has these milestones:
1. Produce examples of the user interface.
2. Confirm the best architecture for the back-end data comparison and how this will flow through to the customer.
3. Build a beta version of the customer data input tool for testing.
4. Build a beta version of the market data input tool for testing.
5. Build final version of both the customer data input tool and market data input tool for launch.
I am looking for someone with a track record of delivering similar projects on time and on budget and has some creative ideas to bring to the table about how to make this work. When you PM please reply with some examples of other projects you have worked on and a short paragraph outlining your vision for the site.
