The purpose of this document is to outline a feature set used in part of a larger web application.
I have created a quiz creator for user generated quizzes. The form fields create new "question" and "answer" fields on the fly using AJAX. The problem I am having is is that each field needs to have a unique name, because I need to track which answer belongs to which question to enter into the database. For example:
If I write a question, I want the question to have a field name of "question-1"
Now when I add an answer to "question-1" I will want the answer field name to be "answer-1-1". If I decide to add another answer to "question-1" I want that answer to be called "answer-1-2".
If I add a new question called "question-2" I will want all answers to be called "answer-2-1", "answer-2-2", etc. There is no limit to the number of answers a user could add. I will also need the ability for a user to delete a question or answer if they choose and for the form to count questions and answers appropriately. PHP will be handling the form processing and entering the data into MySQL.
I am not looking for any design or a complete website, only the AJAX features of the form.
I have sample code that I have been working with that I can send along to the developer chosen for the project.
