Creative Niche Site

Firstly, thanks for taking the time to read this post.

My partner and I have somewhat of a unique situation, but nothing necessarily unfamiliar to the programming/coding world.

We can't go into explicit detail at the moment as an NDA will be required prior to divulging an specifics. What we can tell you is that we have designed (in Photoshop) a multi-interactive website with quite a few moving parts. Namely, this would include video uploads per user, posting capabilities and a virtual room where this niche can interact.

It is a paid site that cirlces a specific part of the entertainment world. No, it's not porn. This an intelligent, niche site that caters to a certain group, but nonetheless, a mass audience.

The site is also a database of information. Half interactive, half database.

The site has roughly 25 unique pages - ranging from the home page to a profile building page to search results (intranet) and to the interactive social room.

The website, its functionality, and audience, have all been well thought out. We know EXACTLY what we want and already have a substantial audience to join the site as we're both well-connected in this niche.

Here's the second important piece - the financial/time piece.

In lieu of initially laying out the dollars for a programmer (which is one route to go), we've decided to take another stance.

Because this site has the grasp and potential that already exists with a plethora of people that are already seeking to join, what we're proposing is something far more lucrative than simply hiring a $10,000 programmer to come in, do the job, then go onto his/her next project. For us, that would mean we'd have to start all over after the site is up, and look for a full-time guru to maintain and run it on a regular basis.

What we want is someone to come in for a piece. Someone who can build a small team under them and run the entire technical show. Yes, of course a salary would be implemented, but even beyond that, we feel that someone who comes in knowing they are part of this type of joint venture will have an emotional and financial stake in what transpires. in other words, drive their passion even more so to make it the best it can be.

Perhaps an initial fee can be forwarded that would speak about the focus and seriousness of the project and to lend some encouragement for the right programmer to come on board, but again, we're not looking to do a straight fee and one-time programming situation.

We don't care about age, if you're formally educated in programming or any other variable to the likes of that. What we do care about is a stellar, cutting-edge programmer with foresight and skill to join us in this venture.

To date, we've only sacrificed a very small amount of dollars and primarily just TIME. Which is all we're asking of the right candidate - TIME, with perhaps a small upfront fee to build some real motivation.

We are two very respectful, creative and business-oriented folks that only lack the technical aspects. The vision, drive and connections are already there.

We ask that you take some time to think about this proposal as we feel there's only a small pool of potential candidates that would want to run with this.

Again, time is the cost here for what we know and see as a major pay-off. Not to mention attaching your name to something substantial.

We're looking forward to hearing from some folks who feel they can fill these shoes - and most importantly, sincerely want to.
