I need to add a good deal of CDs to my music eshop. Every CD in shop has a detailed description:

Title, Artist ,Genre ,List of Track, Every track has a 20 sec. sample (24kbps mp3, 20 sec from beginning) , EAN/UPC , etc....

It is wery slow and expensive to put down the track names manually. The CDDB and FreeDB could be very useful.

## Deliverables

At first, The end-user writes a bar code to column called "EAN" and picks a Label form combobox.

The Program will display if CD is inserted in CD-ROM.

Output: label "CD STATE" values "IN" or "OUT"

After click on button "start" the program starts ripping/grabbing audio cd. The progress is displayed in progressbar. Example: If CD has 16 tracks and 4 tracks are done, the progress is

round((4/16)*100). The progressbar's max position is set to 100.

Output files are: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], a03.mp3....

Output folder is: C:\mp3\(number from column EAN, see above)

Output file quality: 24kbps,joint stereo

Track lenght 20 sec, 20 sec. from beginning.

After click on button "start" the program also connects to CDDB and gets CD info (Album, Artist, Genre, Songs). If the info is partial(missing genre, title, or some tracks etc...) or not available, then connects to FreeDB and gets missing parts.

Then fills columns on form (Title, Artist,Genre,Track1, Track2...)

If there is still some missing info, let the columns blank. They will be filled by end user.

The progress shloud be displayed if progressbar "CDDB STATE"

Im not sure it is possible to display this progress.

Finally

After click on button "start" the program also goes to folder C:\images , resizes image called "[login to view URL]" (c:\images\[login to view URL]) to 110*110 px, saves the image into C:\mp3\(number from column EAN, see above) as [login to view URL] Then do the same thing but the size of 40*40 px and name [login to view URL] .

Input (c:\images\[login to view URL])

output (c:\mp3\<EAN>\[login to view URL]) 110*100 px

output (c:\mp3\<EAN>\[login to view URL]) 40*40 px

After this sets the prograssbar "SCAN STATE" to 100%

Done.
