The project is to code a 'demonstration' Order Management System as would be used by a stockbroker executing orders via a dealer or directly on a stock exchange. Functionality would be very limited, simply to enter a buy or sell order into a pop-up interface, write to a simple database and see the order on a blotter. Route the order to a dealer or exchange, and under certain conditions, see the order filled. Any coders that may have had experience in a broker that used Fidessa, UL Link or one of the many similar products around, or the dealing pages you can find on web based stockbroker sites would find this straightforward.
Estimating about 10 days/80hrs work with the potential of follow-on work if I find the right person.
