Objective:
Create a 3d environment to simulate a robot agent with Jmonkey engine SDK3.(flat ground with steps)
Some requirements(not all):
Robot:
+ you can assume the virtual robot is a cylinder
+ you can assume it is 500mm high and has a diameter of 400mm
-Able to load model of robot dimensions defined(scaling)
-Able to identify bins/cans
-"Pick" cans
-Able to pause and resume with the left mouse click
-Reset state with right click
-8 collision sensors using ray
+ 8 collision sensors around the circumference of the base (front, front-left, left, back left…)
+ 8 proximity sensors around the circumference of the base to detect when the virtual robot is close to but not touching an obstruction
+ stereo cameras
+ a compass
+ the code should be structured with a view to adding new sensors or adjusting the behaviour of existing sensors
+ distance travelled
