Build an Online Movie Ticket Purchasing Web Site -- 2
$8-15 USD / hour
A US based movie theater needs an eCommerce web site to guide a movie-theater customer to select a movie, performance and reserve specific seats using an auditorium seat-map to complete their ticket purchase online. The site will interface with the theater's point of sale system using web services in real-time to retrieve remaining performances, display available seats, and complete the purchase.
Customers have the option of using a guest-account or registering with the site to that future purchases will be faster at checkout. Payments will include gift cards, promotions, etc.
Transactions and purchase history needs to be recorded so that monthly analytics and performance reports can be generated (later phase).
The site requires administration capabilities to maintain images (.jpg) of movies and to be able to configure the connection to the remote point-of-sale server.
The site must adhere to responsive web design (Bootstrap/HTML5) and follow a mobile first approach. The technology stack must include C# ASP .NET MVC, and either MySQL or MS-SQL.
