-IN YOUR PROPOSAL, YOU NEED TO SELL YOURSELF. EVERYONE SAYS THEY CAN DO MY PROJECT, SO WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE YOU OVER ALL OTHER PROPOSALS.

MY PROJECT

I have created a "personal brand" titled Expat Hotelier (see below what this is) that includes: website, blog, major social media pages. The purpose of these websites is to market myself and my career. In order to make these websites look professional I am in need of the following three items:

1. Logo - One logo to be used as profile photo that is seamless with banner for the following social media pages:

-Facebook -Google+ -Twitter -Youtube -Blogger -Tumblr [url removed, login to view]

2. Banner - for social media pages (Not Linkedin). The banner should be the same for all social media pages. I would like a banner that is seamless with the logo. See Google Drive link below for examples of seamless logo/banners.

3. Banner - for Linkedin page. Unlike all the other social media websites mentioned, Linkedin is about marketing me as a recent graduate who is seeking a job. The other social media sites, are about marketing my blog/professional interest.

That being said, it is possible the banner for Linkedin can match the banner from the other social media pages (Item #2 from above). However, I will be using my own headshot for profile photo instead of the logo. This means, if you choose to submit the social media banner as the Linkedin banner, it must look good without the logo being connected to it. Please see example of Linkedin banner in Google Drive link below. You will notice a difference between the Facebook examples and the Linkedin example.

I already have thoughts of what I want for a logo and banner, but want to hear your ideas as they might be better. Look at the Google Drive link above for samples of what I am focusing in on.

YOUR PROPOSAL

Please provide in your proposal the following:

1. Can you do a seamless background/logo together just like those shown in Google Drive examples?

2. What is your charge?

a. Fixed price (preferable)

b. Hourly rate and estimate of hours needed to complete project.

3. How much time will it take from start to completion?

4. Links/attachments of any prior logo/banner design that that you have done which

similar to what I am trying to do.

If I like your proposal, we can communicate on Skype to further determine if you are the right person for this job. I will message you my Skype name after reviewing your proposal.

VERY IMPORTANT: If I like your proposal, before I choose you, I want us to discuss your ideas of what you want to do for the banner and logo design. To be clear, I do not need to see an actual logo or banner during our initial discussion. I just want to hear your ideas for the logo and banner. I request this so we don't waste each other's time and we both have realistic expectations. There are way too many people on Elance who say they can do something, but I find out later that they cannot do what they say they could do.

As someone who works with Adobe Lightroom and to a lesser degree Photoshop, I am capable of doing this myself. The reason I am not doing this myself is because I want a professionally and highly creative logo and banner.

Lastly, since I am a student your price will be one of the deciding factors. However, your creativity in design will allow me to pay more.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER YOU SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL AND I LIKE IT

1. I will message you on Freelancer my Skype name or we can continue to use Freelancer mail.
2. We communicate about the project.
a. I expect that after you read this entire project ad and look at the photos in the link you should have questions to better understand my needs. Asking me questions is very important.
b. You provide me with some personalized and creative ideas for my logo and banner.
c. We agree upon a specific design for the banner and logo
3. I select you, on Freelancer, as the person/company to work on my project.
4. You ask me further questions about logo and banner design needs.
5. You submit initial logo and banner design
6. I review your initial logo and banner design and inform you of any changes that need to be made.
7. Repeat step #5, #6, #7 until Logo and Banner are completed. There should be no more than two or three revisions, but this depends your ability to understand my needs and ability to do the job.
8. I approve Freelancer to submit payment. No payment will be submitted for unfinished work or designs that do not match what we specifically agreed on or what you stated you can do for me. I say this as I receive proposals from people who say they can do the job, but later find out that they cannot do it.
