Amend an existing Logo

Hello.
Attached is an original logo for our brand. We have recently had a freelancer make some changes, they were nearly perfect, however, they were unable to vectorise our original shield logo, using the original olive branch. Instead, they imported another branch and we do not like it.
The job, is to keep to our original shield design, converted into vector design. Then to have the MMXIV typed in Ariel BOLD font. It does not need to have a colour for the font. The effect we want is that the MMXIV is almost sculpted/stencilled out of the black circle, if that makes sense?
Lastly the ribbon containing the word Me Sentir, also needs to be in Ariel Bold, with the letters touching the top&bottom (the height) of the ribbon and the ribbon should be attached to the branch olives just as shown in the sketch attached
