Contest Brief

It is necessary to spread the word that one theory is scientifically disproved. The evidence that the theory is disproved you will able to find within the papers published in scientific journals. I will send those scientific papers and other material to everyone who applies to this job.

Criteria for evaluating success of the news spreading are the following:

- Publishing the information in the respect world newspaper such as: The New York Times (USA), The Guardian (UK), The Washington Post (USA), The Sun (UK), The Daily Mail (UK), USA today (USA), etc. (a winner of this contest will be immediately selected after publishing such information/news/article in these newspapers);

- Publishing the article on the web pages of the respect scientific publisher such as: National Geography, BBC, American Scientist, etc. (posting comments to the other articles with references to the new theory will be also appreciated, but publishing of the new article will be more evaluated);

- Publishing the Wikipedia page about the new theory will be very appreciated;

- The number of blog posts, scientific forum posts, and social network posts will be counted.

An official author of the new articles should not be the author of the original paper from the scientific journal, but you (journalist, blogger, marketing expert ...). A form of interview is also welcome.

Please inform me about every new success of the news spreading, and I will evaluate entire work. I will sum the results on 1st October 2016, unless somebody publishes the article before in the mentioned popular world newspapers (NY Times, etc).

Wouldn’t it have been easier to attach the files, one by one, to the contest brief? If the scientific papers have been peer reviewed, then I don’t really understand the need for secrecy. Attaching all of the relevant files from the outset would have eliminated the need to contact you (or have you contact others) off-site.
