Contest Brief

Going Dark is a company focused on thermal and night vision products. We are using our you tube channel to build educational videos for our current and future customers.

We need a video editor that will be editing all of our videos going forward as we identified that the editing is our bottle neck and not our core skill. We are looking for a talented individual who loves what they do and deliver great results.

To identify the right individual we will run a contest to see who is the best fit for our company going forward.

For the context, we would like the editor to use the supplied videos and edit them to our instructions and our example video.

What kind of editing style are you looking for?

- Bulk editing: (easily edit and mass produce videos with predictable templates)
- Stylized editing: (each video has a certain feel/theme, sometimes known as "overediting")
- Documentary editing: (multiple themes packed to a single video)

  Hi Dharma, for this task a bulk editing should be good enough. We have about 15 of these types of videos. However we will also have interviews and product reviews, they will follow some guidelines and a template as well but would be more along the lines of a documentary editing.
