Contest Brief

Hi, for Mother’s Day I want to gift my grandmother a portrait of her and my grandfather on their wedding day. He passed away back in 2010 and to this day when she talks about him you can see her love for him in her eyes. She doesn’t have a portrait of them so I thought it would be a nice present for her. I want it to look like a piece of art meaning as if it was painted. Be creative with it. Add your own flare to it. Attached is the picture I would like to have drawn or painted of them.

What technique would you like: watercolor (color) or charcoal (black and white)?
I would recommend a charcoal drawing on gray paper, you can see the result of this in my portfolio.
