Contest Brief

BRANDING
Concept:
A chain of pop up Micro Pubs in Kent, ENGLAND to occupy high street shops as opposed to freehold and larger properties.

Different to “run of the mill" pubs in the town centres, they are instead following the trend sweeping the country of locally sourced produce, brews, food and snacks, quirky, individual and unique. On trend and growing.
The brand will sell locally produced Ales and Craft Beers from micro brewery's over Kent and Sussex, these are to be served by the pint or flagon straight from the cask on display. These ales will be kept to the finest standard and served at the correct temperature. All to be sold alongside locally produced wines from local vineyards, The likes of Chappel Down, Biddeden & Westwell. These will star alongside the artisanal Premium Gin and Vodkas accompanied by Mixers and soft drinks.
The name is important, it’s a brand that we hope to scale quickly, it needs to imply a drink and a snack, whilst staying quintessentially British. No fuss, open and friendly – see through windows, on the high street, engaging.
Think
Locally sourced produce, fresh and artisanal, hometown,
the brand is extremely important and open to full creativity providing it conjures up and activates feelings of local, fresh, friendly and welcoming. Craft beers, ales, wines and mixers.
MADE IN, is a strong British brand already, trust in BRITISH MADE< established and trusted, with a play on IN to INN we quickly find an opportunity to build on this,
MADE IN CHELSEA is a familiar soundbite. With a known television show on air.
