Contest Brief

I am creating a blog about that will highlight black culture. I will be celebrating the culture, highlighting the plights of the diaspora and writing multiple thought pieces a week. (Also if you are a black creative, I would like to interview you sometime).


I will start a website and am making an Instagram page. I need a logo that I can make as my instagram profile picture. I have attached a logo picture I saw and I really like that idea. My brand will be either The Black Spotlight or The Black Light. You do not have to make a logo like what I have attached, it’s just an idea some people could try to do. Also if you could find a way to incorpate the name of my brand into the design that would be great. (You can look at the page: the urban historian to get another idea). I have also attached a picture of the two hands like that of the sistine chapel, that is also a cool concept. Another idea could be to make that with africa in the middle or have the two hands holding a chain of africa. Once again, just throwing out some ideas but please feel free to come up with new a design idea. Thank you all for submitting.

    Adu clothing is not my brand. I liked the idea of the two hands and the cloth they had but if you going to try something with in mind, then don’t rip off their site.
