We are at an impasse with our current logo design process. We can see what we want, but just can't get it to look right. That's where you come in!

***MAJOR REQUIREMENTS***
(1) Must not look phallic!
(2) ʙᴏɴɢᴏs MUST be integrated into the text logo of the company name.
(3) Must be able to isolate the ʙᴏɴɢᴏs from the text logo to use as the brand icon.
(4) It MUST be apparent that they are ʙᴏɴɢᴏs when someone looks at them!

Our company name is ʙʀᴀɴᴅ ʙᴏɴɢᴏ - we're looking for a logo design that is simple, powerful and contains ʙᴏɴɢᴏs incorporated into the text of the logo. We want to be able to isolate the icon of the ʙᴏɴɢᴏs used in the text logo and use it as our brand icon on profile pictures and print media.

We've tried many variations of incorporating ʙᴏɴɢᴏs in to the text of the logo. For example, I feel like the ʙᴏɴɢᴏs should be made from the final "d" character in "ʙʀᴀɴᴅ" and the first "b" character in "ʙᴏɴɢᴏ", however it ends up looking a bit phallic. We want the design to be clean, minimal, powerful and easy to recognize that they are ʙᴏɴɢᴏs.

I've attached some concepts [new-mockups.png] to show you what we were working on. I hope you can build on these concepts OR show us something brand new! Please don't get caught up trying to keep the exact style of where we were going. We attached them to show you where we were going, but we don't like any of them! We either thought these designs looked phallic, not enough like ʙᴏɴɢᴏs or just odd. We really want to see someone creatively and tastefully integrate some ʙᴏɴɢᴏs into the text name of our logo.

We do like the font we used (Aldrans Medium) but are certainly open to other styles. I've attached it for your use, but don't feel obligated to use this font! We are open to color options as we're currently designing our site, but we do like the navy blue color seen in the attached designs.

WE DO NOT WANT CLIP ART / CARTOON STYLE DESIGNS!

ATTN ALL CONTESTANTS: I'm noticing the majority of entries that are coming in are still looking phallic (Google it if you don't know...) because of the way you're designing with the "db". This is the major reason we decided to run a contest to see if someone could come up with a design to avoid that! You could also try integrating the ʙᴏɴɢᴏs in to the "bo" of ʙᴏɴɢᴏ as well, as we found that looked less phallic. I'd really love to utilize the "db" between brand and ʙᴏɴɢᴏ, but if we can't get a design to do that, we can try other letter positions for the ʙᴏɴɢᴏs as well.

Hi designers, I will be running this contest for the full length of time, so no need to rush! Would love to still see some new ideas as well, don't copy the existing entries too much.
