Contest Brief

THE CONTEST: Professional and ultra realistic 3D renderings for any THREE ROOMS ONLY on my property, (which is comprised of three dwellings/houses in total)

THE WINNER: Must show THREE COMPLETED ROOMS based on the attached house plans.

THE PRIZE: In addition to prize money for the design of three rooms - I will employ the winner to complete the design of all three houses in new larger project - to be negotiated privately.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

- We have three old dwellings on 8 Acres of rainforest land (Main House + House 2 + Cabin)
- All three dwellings need interior remodel/renovation, BUT this competition is only to design any THREE ROOMS ONLY.
- I would like to keep the style consistent inside all three dwellings.
- The plans are attached (they are not exact - I had to measure myself because no formal plans exist - this will be job for winner).
- I'm looking for interior layout and design.

ABOUT OUR LIFESTYLE

- When we entertain, most people gather around the kitchen area or verandah - BBQ or Kitchen
- we like indoor/outdoor bathrooms and living spaces.
- The cabinets should be simple clean lines, with brass/muted gold finishings.
- We want liveable and easy to clean surfaces.
- maximise storage space
- I have uploaded plans of the layout + photos of existing house + inspiration photos

THE ENVIRONMENT

- Rainforest environment is hot in summer with high moisture, and grows mould, therefore not too many fabric finishes or creases. We want easy to clean. We do NOT want maintainence. Wood, Tiles, Concrete, Granite, Brick, Metal, Leather is good. Curtains, carpet, fabric bedheads are not good.

- We require good airflow - ceiling fans in main areas and a few air-conditioned rooms (office + main bedrooms).

- This house location is on 8 acres in the Australian rainforest therefore - while we like big windows to see outside to nature, we need screens to stop snakes and wildlife entering.

COLOURS: neutral, earthy tones, white, grey, black (not excessive), olive, khaki, pastels, light coloured wood, brass.

STYLE: -clean, tropical, simple elegance. We like MINIMAL / SCANDANAVIAN / FARMHOUSE /BOHO / BALINESE VILLA / TROPICAL styles with touch of modern neutral earthy tones.

MATERIALS: wood, tiles, concrete, brick, recycled timber, tongue & groove walls

**NOTE**: I don't need the exact layout in the attached plans - but it does need to fit into existing dimensions of the home.
