Contest Brief

I am looking for a small illustration of a caveman in loin cloth holding a spear for my website as a logo that will be used on all of my pages and for future uses, www.survivorchap.com is the website. The image will have to be high res, with no white background i.e. just the caveman that can be inserted into several different backgrounds. It will obviously have to be a digital image so that I can scale the size of it for use online. File3.jpg is a rough sketch of how it will be used on my website and 173733197.jpg is the closest to what I am after; if you could put a similar head onto a body similar to my sketch would be perfect.

I would like him to be standing in a loin cloth with shaggy long hair, beard and hairy chest whilst holding a spear.

The illustration is meant to be fun and humorous and reflect the theme of my website which is survival in all environments.

I have attached my horrific hand drawing as an idea to start you off and several other logos of a similar style of what I have in my head. I am basically looking for a caricature similar to those attached.

I will expect to own the image and the copyright after the winner is selected so stock imagery cannot be used as I will not have the copyright to it.

    Thank you to everyone who has submitted designs, they were all of exceptional quality and made my life difficult as I can only choose 1. I have narrowed it down to 3 entries, 25, 26 and 60. I will be looking at these over the weekend and will award a winner by Monday morning. Sorry for the wait but I have a few people to consult with first.

    Hi, No Mr. im telling you that if you don't #guaranteed the contest many designers think that you are going to steal our work and go away before finish the contest, this happens all the time, that the reason why too many of us ask for #guaranteed it's the only way to trust on the contest, have a nice day.

      I understand, but I have no intentions of stealing anyones work. I have a few designs that I like and as a result I will choose a winner. I hope that puts you at ease?

      To defend the illustrators, in your instructions, if I may quote, "173733197.jpg is the closest to what I am after; if you could put that head onto a body similar to my sketch would be perfect." hence you will get the same head.

    My concern is that if it is stock imagery then I cannot own the copyright to it, not so much that the heads are the same. I hope that clears things up?
