Contest Brief

I'm after a custom illustration that will be used as printed decal on a racing boat.

The woman image will stretch from the front of the boat to roughly half way. The woman is to be based from Stheno, a icon from Greek Mythology per the provided example. Her serpent body is to trace from top to bottom and front to midway along the vessel. At the back will be the name of the vessel 'Difficult Woman'. Dimensions, the front point of the boat measures 20cm height tapering into 30cm towards the centre. The overall length of the vessel is 2 meters in length. These dimensions will be conformed upon project acceptance.

The woman is to be drawn as a strong character, while keeping her attractive nature. The positioning will allow her to cut through the water and will be printed on both sides becoming an icon for the vessel and race team.

I think this is by far one of my favourite contests! Really excited to participate, before i do so i had a couple of questions that might help ( me and the other freelancers) to create a more accurate illustration. 1. do you have a color theme in mind that you might like? or preference? 2. even if you personally do/dont have artistic skills, could you attach some images of the STYLE you prefer? ( any reference image from google will do that catches your attention ) ie. do you want it to look like realistic? do you want it to look more cartoonie? would you like it maybe painted in a watercolor style? or maybe drawn " greek mythology style? like the images on the vases....where its black and twirly lines? or drawn like greek sculptures? sorry i know this a lot of info..it would just really help to draw it in the right style for you. since there are so many ways to do this:)
