Contest Brief

Design a brand new user interface for our health monitoring application! Here are some of the key specifications we are looking out for.

1. Great user experience (easy navigation between screens).
2. Creative graphical interfaces (for icons and display of functions).
3. Style should be professional, theme is "new age of technology".
4. Target audience for our users are men and women aged 30-60 who are keen to update, check and monitor their health on a daily basis.
5. I have attached the screen content file (in Word) and a few sample screen files (in JPG) as a starting point for you designers to understand the concept of the application.

Deliverables: Design 5 screens initially for this contest based on the files we provided for your reference. There are about 20 screens in total and the winning entry selected will be responsible to design the remaining 15 screens before being awarded. Here is the timeline we have prepared.
1. 5 screens for contest (6 days).
2. Remaining 15 screens for winner (4 days).

The screens we want to see for this contest are (refer to the uploaded word document)
1. Login Screen (Screen 1)
2. Home Screen (Screen 5)
3. Points Screen (Screen 6) (No sample screen. New feature)
4. Update Screen (Screen 10) (3 Tabs in total)
4. Settings Screen (Screen 11)

Thank you for all the entries submitted so far. I am impressed with most if not all the work and applaud your outstanding talent in design.

On a side note, I was hoping that contestants can put in more effort in giving the application a brand new look instead of just taking the sample screens and changing the background colors, fonts or icons. We are totally open to restructuring the features on the screen, such as how the vital signs are displayed, or how the update forms can more attractive to users in sight.

Be creative! Take some time to envision how you would think a health monitoring application should look like and apply it to your design. Don't worry about us not picking your design because it is too different from the sample screens, in fact massive changes are what we are looking for as our objective is to revamp the application to give it a whole new fresh look!

  Based on the fact that we already have samples for reference, so it's not like we are requesting contestants to start from scratch. In a way we are paying you for your creative input, so in my opinion the prize set is considered reasonable.
