Contest Brief
I offer 200 EURO for a single image file that I need by 31-July-2020. This image should illustrate how identify safer alternatives to harmful chemicals in consumer products (e.g. building materials, toys, cosmetics).
Image layout:
I need a front cover graphic for a scientific journal. Detailed guidelines about image dimensions, resolution, etc. are found in attached file "Front_Cover_Guidelines.pdf". Please include a "layered" version of the image file.

Image content:
Content should reflect that humans can be exposed to chemicals in consumer products and how to find better chemicals to replace these harmful chemicals. I attach the abstract text of the content, some slides that may be adapted or not, and some cover examples that could inspire.
The scientific article, for which the illustration should be designed is open access and now published - for those among you, who wish to get more background and context of the illustration: http://doi.org/10.1039/D0GC01544J
So the illustration is about replacing harmful chemicals by safer alternatives, and ideally both are contrasted but with emphasis on the GOOD alternatives and not too strongly on the harmful chemicals as the DESIGNING SAFER alternatives is the focus of the scientific article and not to quantify pollution.
A good image case would be e.g. a sketch comparing different chemicals in a certain product (e.g. building material) for human exposure (humans are exposed to the chemical during product use, workers are exposed during chemical manufacturing, and the general population is exposed to emissions along the entire product life cycle), ecological exposure (when sending the product to landfill, chemicals can emit to the environment and expose ecosystems), and climate change (from energy use for producing the chemical). One chemical is the "target" (i.e. harmful) and should be replaced by one of the other candidates, which perform better than the target chemical (i.e. lower exposure and lower impacts).

Keywords that are relevant for the image content:
chemicals, exposure, substitution (or replacement or alternatives), life cycle, assessment

Good examples:
The journal is Green Chemistry (https://pubs.rsc.org/en/journals/journalissues/gc#!issueid=gc022013). Six example covers that I like and that could serve as inspiration are attached.
