Contest Brief

PLEASE KINDLY READ:
The design is for OUTSIDE/EXTERIOR SIGN FOR A RESTAURANT.
It is NOT for business cards, t-shirts, merchandise or social media.
Please submit appropriate design for EXTERIOR SIGNAGE.

Egg and Bird

General Guidelines:
1) Visibility and easy to read from cars driving by the restaurant is very important.
2) Be creative with different fonts from bold to fun fonts.
3) Keep in mind that this will be used for OUTSIDE restaurant sign.
4) Variations of style perspectives/designs
For example--change colors of foreground/background or change color of beginning letter or last letter.
5) Please use a restaurant mock-up so we can visualize the sign too.
6) We are open to other fonts, but these type 5 are classic—please show us your best design.

Trajan
Futura
Verdana

Goal:
Visibility and easy to read for oncoming traffic (cars) and people passing by.
Attractive
Clean
Maximize the footprint of the signboard/ sign box.

Attachment:
1) The first picture is a logo sample for reference only, not to copy or mimic...its just to give you an idea. We need real designs.
2) Pictures of actual location (old restaurant) that we will be renovating and taking over.
It would be a big plus if you can use this picture for the sign mock-up and feel free to touch up or make the exterior look better, to enhance your sign creation.

Please Note:
The file format must be in Ai file or raw file--the awarded design will be submitted to local sign/print company.
