Contest Brief

Our organization is STAR - Support Team Animal Rescue. We are a Non-Profit 501(c)3 Corporation created to address the problem of euthanasia of dogs and cats due to shelter overcrowding, medical and other needs. We rescue then adopt animals to loving, responsible, forever homes.

We're looking for a logo with purple/plum color in it. The organization is known as STAR and the corporation name is Support Team Animal Rescue; both need to be in the design.

We will need the layered psd files and reserve the right to modify the design for our purposes.

UPDATE 1/3/15 - Really pleased with the response thus far so I want to mention that I have two other businesses for which I will need logos in the next 4-6 months.

UPDATE 1/5/2015 - Since I wasn't able to log in at all yesterday no one got any feedback,(sorry). I will look up if there is a way to extend the contest one extra day so if the feedback I give today makes anyone want to make changed/additional entries there will be time to submit.

UPDATE 1/5 - contest extended 5 days but we may announce a winner in 2-3 days

Contest extended 5 days. There are so many good designs I want my Board members to see. I will keep giving feedback and will review the top choices this week so we can choose the winner.

I've noticed a trend in choice of fonts some people are using. The "futuristic" ones, with what appears to be a slight horizontal stretch, aren't what we are looking for. That doesn't mean modern isn't what we want, just not this particular style.

Hi Everyone. Thank you for all the great entries. If you have made multiple entries, don't be discouraged if I rejected some and kept others. For instance, if you submitted multiple color versions I kept the color varieties I liked best and rejected those of the same design with colors that aren't what we're looking for.
