Contest Brief

We are looking for a new logo for our timber supply company called "Timber Distributors". We're a wholesale company that supplies bulk softwood, hardwood, engineered & composite timbers. We sell a huge range of products, including structural timbers, treated pine, beams, posts, logs, sleepers, framing, cladding etc etc.

Wood is very fashionable at the moment in terms of Architecture & Design. This is largely because timber is beautiful, warm and natural, as well as an environmentally friendly and sustainable building material. We'd like to see some designs that may include themes around trees and nature or wood and timber or transport and trucks or building & architecture etc.

In terms of the Logo, it *must* be original & unique. Our design preference is for something that looks professional, modern and reasonably clean, but still bold and instantly recognisable. The logo should work well in digital on a website as well as in-print. Extra points if it can also be used in B&W or on a solid colour background.

Please include the words Timber Distributors in the design.

Note: The winner will need to provide layered Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps files as well as .png files.

one thing remember logo on mockups, on shing wall are just a photoshop trick, it is not the final file, final vector file submitted by any designer is on plain background, so rate on the basis of plane background...Thank u

  Thanks designerfiroz95, Yep I am aware those are just mockups. That's OK just give an idea of how it might look in that situation - But your right it still needs to look good by itself! + in print on letter heads etc + on website etc.
