We need a logo for our real estate investment company. The name of the company is 1st Grade Properties (Can't use First Grade Properties - Must be 1st Grade Properties). We are a husband and wife team of real estate investors but we are also first grade teachers. We would like to incorporate some element of teaching and some element of real estate.

Thank you for your time and the quick entries. We like the entries that include the books and a house. When we look at the logo we would like to see some blend of teaching and real estate. We should clarify that we work with homes and not business properties. So skyscrapers and tall buildings wouldn't be a good fit. We hope to display the logo on a dark background so anything with a pop of color or contrast would look nice. Images that might fit include: books, red apple, pencils, ruler, or perhaps anything that emphasizes 1st.
