Contest Brief

We are a start up honey farm in Aotearoa New Zealand. We are after a logo for the business called: Horomata Health. This is a family business so we are after a fun child friendly logo with a cute looking honey bee that represents our culture.
Attached is a bee I started to draw but I’m not the best drawer and I can not draw Maori designs. A family member also thought the bee is too fat for a honey bee. I would like the black stripes Maori signs/patterns for every normal black stripe and the yellow/gold to be normal. Where the queen is pointing I would love the company name HOROMATA HEALTH. Thanks
So the bee is very unfinished but as the picture shows a Maori necklace strip where the first design begins.
