**Software Development and Programming Experience:**
1. I along with my friend Tamal Saha have developed some software currently in use in the industry. We developed video conversion software named **“Rupantorâ€** that is now being used by Ryans Archive. They use it to convert their special mp4 video format to wmv format so that their clients can see it without any software installations in their PC. “Rupantor†has some unique features like video frame rate and bit rate conversion not present in currently available other software. One of the important clients of Ryans Archive is the **World Bank.** The video footage about World Bank’s news in Bangladeshi TV channels are stored in their database after being converted by “Rupantorâ€. This software was developed in Visual C++.NET platform. We needed to use MFC, DirectX 9.0a and Windows Media Format 9.5 for this software.
2. I and Tamal have developed software named “**Patient Management System**†to manage and maintain the patient’s personal and medication information. It is in use in the chamber of Dr. Zaheer Al. Amin, Assistant Professor and Head of ENT-Head & Neck Surgery Dept of BIRDEM and Ibrahim Medical College, Dhaka. This software was developed in Visual C#.NET and SQL Server 2000. It has intelligent search and treatment facilities.
3. Currently, I am working with other three team members of my team under guidance of two teachers of BUET to computerize the planning and accounting department of **Asiatic Mindshare (Unilever Bangladesh), MAXUS and Asiatic MCL** - some leading marketing firms in Bangladesh. We are developing the system with Visual C#.NET and Oracle 9i.
4. I made software named **Network Judge** that mimics the work of the software “PC2â€. That software can judge C, C++ and Java programs using Turbo C++ compiler and Java Software Development Kit. I made that as a part of my academic works, and it was made in Java language.
5. I made a Database based web project named **Internet Billing System** that mimics the workings of an ISP’s webpage and dialup systems. That project was done in ASP.NET, C#. I used Oracle 10g as Database System.
6. I, along with my friend Tamal Saha made a **Chess Game** which could be played on a Single computer or in two computers in a network. That program was also in Java. It won the 4th prize in computer category in 3rd Science Festival, 2004 held by Notre Dame Science Club.

**Special Interests Regarding Programming:**
1. I prefer Visual C# as programming language. But I know several languages, and it is no problem to select a language that favors the task in hand.
2. I like to follow design principles so that it is easier to develop and maintain my projects. It also increases the ease of understanding among team members.
**Co curricular Activities:**
1. I took part in several Science fair Projects and won awards. I took the first place in Dhaka district in the science fair arranged for 24th National Science and Technology week in the year 2001 and nominated for the national level competition.
2. In the National Competition of the 24th National Science Fair I along with 2 other members of our group took the Fifth award in the senior group.
3. In the next Year, I was the 2nd award winner in the Science fair of the 25th National Science and Technology week. As a member of Notre Dame Science Club, I won some other awards too like 4th award in the 3rd Science Festival, 2004 held by Notre Dame Science Club, etc.
4. I took part in regular sports and won the 2nd Prize in Badminton in the Upagilla National Child Award Competition, 1992, in Bancharam
