E2OPEN Client Applied Materials Role Module Leader Organization Tata Consultancy Services Environment Oracle 8,SAP,Informatica, Unix Project Description A Proof of Concept (also called POC) will be conducted to validate the architecture for the A2E-II CSP& E project and determine if it meets the performance requirements of the application. The proof of concept will center around three representative extracts. These extracts were selected based on the fact that they are representative of the peak daily high volume transactions. Transactions include: Ø PO information (New and Changed PO) from ERP (Oracle/SAP) to E2Open (SCPM) Ø Updated PO’s from E2Open (SCPM) to ERP (Oracle/SAP) Ø Supplier Data from ERP (Oracle/SAP) to E2Open (SCPM) The objectives of the POC are to: 1. Generate performance metrics for the selected transactions 2. Extrapolate estimation to all other transactions 3. Identify assumptions and risks and develop mitigation plans. Responsibilities: · Developing Mapping in Informatica PowerCenter 5.1.1 for loading the data · Involved in writing Shell Scripts · Involved in the Design, development and maintenance of the entire system · Involved in test plan development and testing of all the developed applications. · Documentation as per SEI-CMM Level 5 standards for various phases of the project 12. COPA Client Applied Materials Role Module Leader Organization Tata Consultancy Services Environment Oracle 8,Informatica, Unix, BRIO Project Description The current methodology in AME to design COPA delta P & L reports is to run SAP COPA P & L reports first and save the reports in MS Excel. Using MS Excel macros, the delta P & L reports are then generated. Due to the inability to add/delete columns from these existing reports and also due to the inability for the end-users to slice and dice the existing delta P & L reports, a new methodology is proposed. The SAP COPA related star schema objects are to be designed in Board. The daily jobs which provide Flat file with SAP COPA extracts information will be provided by AME AGS and will be located in SAP Zeus server. The Board scheduled jobs would pull the flat file from SAP, transform the data and load it into the COPA star schemas in Board. The SAP COPA data will be downloaded daily by a batch background job and will be scheduled to look for release file in the SAP domain. At around 1 a.m. Central European Time (CET), the SAP source files are created and the release file is made available. The process of file transfer should not take more than 10 min to run. After this SAP download is complete, the necessary data will be stored in the mutually agreed Unix directory and will be ready to be picked up by the Board upload program. That program is also expected to run daily and make the data available to the AME analysts the next day. All the COPA reports need to be created by using BOARD objects and Brio Intelligent Designer as Pivot Reports. The report layout and pivots will be created based on the alternatives used currently for the delta P & L reports. The users should be able to drill down and drill up based on all available reporting attributes. Any user level customization to the pivots will be maintained by users on their desktops. Responsibilities: · Developing Mapping in Informatica PowerCenter 5.1.1 for loading the data · Involved in writing Shell Scripts · Involved in the Design, development and maintenance of the entire system · Involved in test plan development and testing of all the developed applications. · Documentation as per SEI-CMM Level 5 standards for various phases of the project · Involved in training and support of users 11.
