I have experience as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, UPM. I have PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2018. I completed my Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Bachelor’s in Chemical-Bioprocess Engineering from UTM. I also obtained Diploma (e-learning) in the International Legal Framework on Pollution from United Nations (UN) in April 2020. I have enrolled on professional memberships such as Professional Technologist (Ts.) (MBOT), Graduate Technologist (MBOT), and Graduate Engineer (BEM). I am also enrolled on international professional membership, including an Associate Member of IChemE (UK). More than that, I am in the process of applying for Charted Engineer with IChemE. I have published numerous research papers in indexed journals with an H-index of 7, including Bioresource Technology (Impact Factor: 11.88, Quartile 1 (Q1), Fuel (6.609 Quartile 1 (Q1), Microporous and Mesoporous Materials (Impact Factor: 5.876 Quartile 1 (Q1), five publications in the Journal of Sol-Gel Science and Technology (Impact Factor: 2.9, Quartile 2 (Q1), Jurnal Teknologi (Scopus), and others. I have a total of 20 publications, attached are the publications (10 in Q1/Q2). I have many other manuscripts under review in ISI/Scopus-indexed journals. Additionally, I have attended numerous international conferences to present my research and build a network with local and international scholars. I can be considered highly skilled in research focusing on the field of bioprocessing, environment, and composite materials such as the synthesis of biodiesel (renewable oil), development of nanomaterials composite (i.e manufacturing nano-silica using agro-waste rice husk and sol-gel silica), enzyme immobilization using the sol-gel technique, biodegradation and life cycle assessment (LCA). My experience in laboratory work has made me more independent, proactive, and suited for collaborative work. I have been a lecturer for several years, teaching undergraduate students at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Manipal International University, Stamford College and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). I also have good skills in supervising undergraduate students for their Final Year Projects, Design Projects, internships, and also when they are implementing laboratory practices.
