I am Nikola Starčević (2nd from the right), born and raised in Belgrade, capital of Serbia. As of time of writing this summary, I'm a 20 years old student of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (University of Belgrade)
My interest in STEM sciences grew immensely over the last 4 years as a student of Robotics and Electronics in "Politehnika - škola za nove tehnologije". As the headline suggests, I am quite interested and educated in fields of Maths, Science, Electronics, Mechanics, Robotics... In depth, Arduino, Microcontrollers and C/C++ Programming are fields I find myself most comfortable with, although i had quite a lot fun and experience in 3D design and modeling, LEGO and Abilix robotics, Python and Machine Learning... I do not find myself as a "pure programmer" (software or web developer), but i did learn quite a lot about HTML/CSS/Javascript for couple of part time jobs i had during summer. I would be more then happy to be engaged in "technical" parts concerning robots and devices as well, since during studies I gathered a lot of knowledge about strain and resistance of materials, mechanics and physics.
Regarding awards and competitions i attended, I would highly recommend visiting my Facebook page, as i primarily use it for "CV building" and portfolio purposes. I will list some of them (those i am most proud of):
- WER world robotics competition (2 times, Shanghai, First and Third place)
- FIRST LEGO LEAGUE, (2 times, Slovenia, Balkan Competition)
- National Robotics Competition...
Thank you very much for the time spent reading this, have a nice day!
