Every year since 2008, he has been involved in field and reporting programs as a soil and vegetation assessment lead for several multi-million dollar biophysical assessments for clients in Northern Canada. This includes managing over 100 rare plant, ecosite, and plant community surveys within the Parkland, Mixedgrass, Dry Mixedgrass, Dry Mixedwood, Central Mixedwood, and Lower Boreal Highlands natural subregions, approximately spanning an area over 1200 hectares. In addition to this, he has managed over 50 soil surveys within these natural subregions of Alberta approximately spanning an area over 600 hectares.
