Illustration
Every illustration has a motivating story behind its brush strokes and the same is for these two pieces. The first illustration is one I completed for a short story titled "Raven Jump". Aside from my drawing skills this is an ideal example of my composition talents. The Characters, and their relation to each other and the landscape makeup, comprise of an "S" composition which guides the viewer's eyes through the scene. The empty space above the scene opens up a third of the page and would become the area allotted for the title font. The next two are a vector illustration and a photograph included in the local newspaper of the final print I did for a General George Washington Cutout Board used as a promotional item for Washington's Headquarters State Historic Site.
About Me
Creating has been a lifelong activity and a near-decade long profession. Of course, I enjoy every aspect of the creative process. However, it is the method of determining the desires of clients, or what attracts a target audience, that i find mentally satisfying. Talent for creating attractive illustrations and images, using multiple photo editing and illustration software. Strong interpersonal skills anchor the desires of the client into design solutions. Proven consistently to produce quality work under tight deadlines. Seeking to assist a company or team as an asset in developing high-quality designs/illustrations to further business and professional image.
