**Duties:** Lead a team of developers designing, creating, maintaining, and supporting the back-end and financial systems used internally by the company. Design and develop web-based and enterprise-level software using the Extreme Programming(XP) agile methodology. Mentor and train employees as needed. Interview candidates for full-time positions. Troubleshoot issues. Technologies include MS SQL Server 2000, SQL Reporting Services 2000, C#, and Access. Key projects include:
* Jointly designed and developed a suite of reports to show vendor and client activity for the eAutoRepair product. The reports were developed as SQL Reports against MS SQL Server 2000.
* Jointly designed and developed a WebTrial Campaign system that would generate a mass set of web trial accounts and notify customers via a promotional email to trial the campaign product. This was created as a set of MS SQL Server 2000 tables and procedures integrated into the existing automated back-end and authentication systems.

**Duties:** Design and develop web-based and enterprise-level software for use in the automotive industry using the Extreme Programming(XP) agile methodology. Lead development team as needed. Mentor and train employees as needed. Interview candidates for contractual and full-time positions. Troubleshoot issues. Key projects include:
* Joined team half-way in initial development of the CRM (Customer Retention Management) system. Collaboratively designed and developed in initial and maintenance phases. Served as development team lead on two maintenance phases. Multiple client data sources were extracted from a local Access database using an extraction application written in VC++ 6.0. Data was pushed to the corporate system via a web service. The core of the system was written in ASP.NET/C# joined with a SQL Server 2000 database. Web-reporting was provided to customers. A data feed was also sent to a partner/vendor.
* Collaboratively designed and developed in maintenance phases of OnDemand5(<a href= "http://www.ondemand5.com/">www.OnDemand5.com</a>) and OnDemand5Direct(<a href= "http://www.ondemand5direct.com/">www.OnDemand5Direct.com</a>) web-applications. These applications provided automotive repair, estimating and service information. They were both written in ASP. They utilized VBScript and JavaScript and also communicated with a SQL Server 2000 database.
**June 1999 to January 2005. Flying J, Inc.- Software Engineer**
**Duties:** Design and develop software within the Point-of-Sale department for enterprise usage. Lead and/or manage projects as needed. Projects utilize the Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 and MP-RAS UNIX platforms. Projects utilize Oracle, Informix and MS SQL Server databases. Interview candidates for contractual and full-time positions. Troubleshoot production issues. Key projects include:
* Designed and developed collaboratively on a team to create a point-of-sale restaurant system. This system comprised of a VB6 touch-screen client on Windows NT 4.0, TCP/IP processes running on UNIX MP-RAS, Informix database server, and VB6 and VC++ 6.0 backoffice applications. Later, managed and developed in enhancement lifecycles. Lead team in redesign effort to comprise the system of a C#.NET touch-screen client on Windows NT 4.0, a Windows 2003 server running MS SQL Server database, C#.NET web services, a Windows service, and a site portal for backoffice operations. A corporate portal was also created to manage and distribute site-specific data.
* Redesigned and developed a Menu Management system. Written in VC++ 6.0, an application allowed a user to manage menu/recipe data that was housed in an MS SQL Server. A separate, multi-threaded VC++ 6.0 was developed for the support group to distribute the menu data to restaurant sites. It pulled in a DTS package from MS SQL Server and invoked it. Later, lead redesign effort to provide menu versioning/history and site-specific menu capabilities. A multi-user Windows client interface was developed in VB.NET. Menu data distribution became automated. Through the client application, users were able to send a menu version to test or production. A combination of SQL Agent jobs, stored procedures, and DTS packages would move the data down to the specific site(s).
* Designed and developed Pricebook Data Distribution system. Written entirely in MS SQL Server, this system utilized SQL Agent jobs, stored procedures, and DTS packages. On an adjustable interval, an Oracle database would be queried for data changes. These changes would be pulled down to an MS SQL Server database. Product costs would be calculated based on pack conversion breakdowns. The data would then be pulled down to the specific site Informix database. Product cost was again calculated on the site database for reporting purposes.
* Designed and developed an Order Relay system. Written entirely in MS SQL Server using SQL Agent jobs, stored procedures, and DTS packages, this system would retrieve created vendor supply orders from remote Informix site databases. It would create a fixed-format file and FTP it to the corporate Gentran EDI server. It would
