Hello, I am Ammar, I am a software engineer and I am currently enrolled in a remote web development school called Microverse where we learn how to effectively use pair-programming while working on real-world projects.
To obtain my master’s degree in Software Engineering, I designed a robot and a mobile application that helps teach kids basic math operations, letters, and shapes. It was challenging and exciting and it made me familiar with the sort of fast-paced, intense environment found at a lot of software development companies.
Working at a remote customer service company for a year taught me a lot of skills that I use now as a developer like problem-solving, effective communication, and multi-tasking, because of these skills I was able to provide top-notch customer service and that earned me several top worker awards.
I’ve spent the last 2 years working remotely with people across many different time zones, so when I read your job offer and the requirement of working remotely, I immediately saw myself in that description.
