I started a computer science degree at Queen Mary university but quit in the second year due to health problems. I learned on my own to program in C,C++,Pascal,assembly, Basic. I also know HTML/CSS3 and database. I currently work in my own time on a high-performance computer processor project called heptane and the ports of gnu binutils and gcc for it. I have released a previous scalar CPU project as open source on opencores called suslik. I also wrote an assembler for it that can generate verilog memory files for the test cases.
