Book cover design
This cover is for a reference book that interacts with both contemporary and older writings, and focuses on Bible content. The cover art was a modification of an historical etching of the Library at Alexandria, with a background using the Hebrew text of the beginning of the book of Genesis.
About Me
I have extensive experience in editing, including copyediting, developmental and substantive editing, and proofreading. I have worked on books, articles, essays, and professional journal pieces. I also work with book design and publishing, and have designed book covers and interiors. I am experienced with typography, layout, editing, proofreading, pre-press production, self-publishing setup, publication, distribution, and marketing. I've been designing materials for companies and nonprofits for over 10 years. I have designed logos, business cards, stationery, brochures, flyers, posters, and websites. I've also worked with building corporate identity.
